Deine Band Competition
DEINE BAND started of as a band competition initiated by the Goethe-Institut and Deutsche Welle. DEINE BAND enables students to have playful access to the German language through good music and song lyrics. Groupe Dejour created the whole visual language for DEINE BAND along with animated GIFs and trailer videos for social media.

In a very early stage of the project, there was no photo material available. So we raised attention with some moving elements in combination with german words relating to the band competition.

A mayor point for the voting where the great music videos of all the competitors. Therefor Groupe Dejour edited this DEINE BAND trailer for the social media audience. For those who don’t know yet: OK.DANKE.TSCHÜSS. made it!
Band name
The second part of the project is to give German language learners very easy and funny „lessons“ in german, like this one: It’s all about OK, DANKE and TSCHÜSS.
